Lessons from Australia

Near the base of Uluru

So…I’ve fallen in love with a continent: the land, the people, the culture. I’m definitely still in the giddy infatuation stage, so please take everything I’m saying with a grain of salt. That said…I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say I’m a different person than I was when my plane first touched down in Melbourne. In 14 days on the ground, Australia has taught me some essential lessons about how to interact: with the land & its inhabitants, with history, with community. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing some of those lessons here. All I ask is that you read with an open mind, heart, and spirit, take what resonates, & leave the rest. Thanks for reading. <3
